You know you’re a stitcher when…
When I get bored, I start browsing 123stitch. I love to scroll through the new patterns or browse different categories of patterns to see what catches my eye. Am I the only one who does this?
So, I was looking at winter patterns and started noticing various design trends, including the number of rabbits that appear in winter cross-stitch scenes. Here are a few of my favorites:
Top Left: “Christmas Joy Ride” by Carriage House Samplings
I have seen “Christmas Joy Ride” finished. A woman in my guild stitched it, and it is even more stunning in person. I love the colors in this one.
Top Right: “Hares Winter” by Plum Street Samplers
Bottom Left: “Frosty Forest 4: Frosty Friends” by Country Cottage Needleworks
I love the whole Frosty Forest series — so cute.
Bottom Right: “Cardinal Winter” by Little House Needleworks
This one includes another popular subject for winter designs — cardinals. Their bright red feathers provide a welcome pop of color during the often dreary winter months.
I love seasonal designs, but maybe I should start looking ahead to spring instead. I might have a chance of finishing some Easter stitching if I start now…
I love bunnies! I like the top right design, but I really don’t need any more designs at the minute, I have more than I could ever stitch!
There is no such thing as too much cross-stitch stash! 😀
I also enjoy 123 stitch and

Ooo, pretty. I’ve always admired Theresa Wentzler’s work, but I have yet to stitch any of her designs. Maybe someday…
Oh no. You are not the only one that surfs the net for the newest trends in stitching ;) I try not to do it too often, because it can really take up soooooo much time without even realizing it. I have noticed that bunnies are in a lot of patterns lately.
your 123stitch for my pinterest and you’re dead-on ;-)
Heh heh. :)
